Kaladarsana is the performing arts division of Darsana. Started in April 14, 1985, it has traveled a long journey, giving training to thousands of students in various arts forms and creating a lot of professionals. Our is aim is to promote Kerala's rich tradition in arts. |

| Vacation Classes | ||
|
During the summer vacation period, classes are normally taken three days a week. There will be special classes during other holidays. For more details and fees use the contact form given below or visit our office. |

|
Vacation classes are mainly for school and college going students. During mid summer vacation there is an intensive training course for the above mentioned items. Giving maximum training in a minimum duration is the aim of this programme. There will be a stage presentation of the programs at the end of the vacation.

| Eligibility | ||
| Only candidates above five years will be allowed to get admission in the Academy. | ||
|
After giving a preliminary training for two months, students are evaluated and only those who have the motive to study will be allowed to continue. They can continue training for six months. Those who shows artistic talent after this period may opt to have an in-depth training programme that lasts for three years. At the end of the training period they will have the chance to display their talents before an invited audience.

| Admission Details | ||
| Normally admissions are given two times an year. One is at Vidyarambham and the other during the start of Midsummer vacations. | ||
| Students must pay the first installment of the fees for each subject along with the registration fees at the time of admission. For vacation classes, full fees must be remitted at the time of admission. Application form and prospectus with details of the classes is available at the office of Kaladarsana. | ||
| The one month training period of each subject usually consist of eight classes, each class being one hour long. | ||
| Fees must be paid during the first week of the month itself. Defaulters will not be allowed to continue classes. | ||
|
There will be tests every couple of months. Those who successfully finish the prescribed training will be awarded certificates after the examinations.

Our faculty consist of well qualified and talented personalities in their respective fields. Their excellent training and dedication had made Kaladarsana one of the foremost training centres in Kottayam

| Instruments for Training | ||
| We will provide instruments for training in the preliminary stage. We recommend students to purchase instruments if possible, so that they can practice while in home. You can purchase instruments through our office, if you wish. | ||
| Music notebooks needed for studying guitar, violin and electronic organ can be had from the office at a minimal cost. We also have audiovisual aids to help in the training of some items. | ||
| We will be organising demonstration programmes and musical treats of eminent personalities and famous artists occasionally. It is for sake of the students undergoing training in our institute. | ||
|
The Academy has also a reading room with periodicals and other magazines.
